oh hi there!

don't mind me. just soaking up the last 60 minutes of my 24 hour date with josh. also, really, really feelin' this muppet fur cardigan. in case you can't tell.

and yes. i fully acknowledge two weeks ago i was telling you to go basic. well ignore that. puh-lease i ignore myself all the time. does anyone else fight with themselves on the regular? yea, maybe we all do. but ignore that too for now. also ignore how that mangy fur looks kinda iffy in your online shopping cart. and forget how it tends to get in everything (you can just snip the ends off anyway. that's what i did!). forget everything. because that's the thing with muppet fur. it's kind of everything. at least it was to me, on this fleeting day of freedom from parentlife for exactly one full day. and then i let josh take a bunch of pictures of me in it.

and who am i kidding. i love this stuff, too!

i recommend wearing a faux fur jacket like this with something basic (ha!) like jeans and a t-shirt, or with a dress. it just adds something fun and cool to the outfit. and a little bit of rock 'n 'roll.

also great with hair whips and inaudible tiger sounds. it's all in the wrist guys!

now isn't this a super insightful blog? thanks for indulging me with these fashion-y posts guys. it's fun to pretend that this is really me. a fashion person. me, a person who can wear fashion!? without the worry of toddler spills and boyhood messes (silk i will never forget you!).

well, for 24 hours i was that person. 

so just give the look a try. you will either love it or hate it. and by hate i mean you're just not sure. and well let me tell you, there are plenty of guarantees to be had with this piece. like compliments! do you know how many walks of female complimented me on this jacket+cardigan+carpet thing in one hour? FIVE. and that made me feel like FIVE MILLION EFFING DOLLARS.

also worth noting is the nostalgia i feel for odelay in this jacket. new pollution was the JAM!
